Agnos River
Potamos Agnos is one of the river systems of northern Corfu. It drains the north-western slopes of Pantokrator and through the area of ​​the Nimfes and Platonas exits into the plain, to flow into the Sea of ​​Chimarra. It has two main branches. The eastern one is called Platonas while flowing in the plain, Nerotrouvies in the gorge of the same name and Kanalaki in the area of ​​the waterfalls. The western branch is called Poros and is the one fed by the springs of the Nimfes. Some emblematic species of the river are the Eurasian Otter, the Epiros Riffle Daces and the fresh water crab.
